We never know, do we? It seems Life in its infinite wisdom keeps offering us ways to surrender to the perfect now. And on this occasion, we are being invited to let go a beloved tradition – our favorite Sangha event of the year – the Bridge Walk.
Due to raging wildfires in Northern California and the subsequent Bay Area “unhealthy air quality” warning, we are canceling the Bridge Walk. Given the unpredictability of the winds, we are unable to say definitively that it will be safe for people to gather under or walk across the Golden Gate Bridge.
We can only project everyone’s disappointment at not getting together with Sangha to celebrate another year of generosity, love and joy. Even though we cannot gather together in person, we can all still be together in Gassho, appreciating what we do to support the community in Kantolomba. We hope that you will still take the opportunity this weekend to acknowledge the goodness of the practitioner who so joyfully participated in this season’s Bridge Walk campaign.
