What is the Golden Gate Bridge Walk?

Our annual fundraiser for the Africa Vulnerable Children Project.

Why do we do it?

Because gathering to celebrate with those who share our values and passion is the most fun a human being can have. The money we raise as a team will transform the lives of 11,000 people, over 3000 of them children, in Kantolomba Compound, a desperately impoverished slum in Ndola, Zambia. When we arrived, this community was in need of everything: clean water, food, education, health care, employment, and safe housing…everything..

Participating in a Bridge Walk team allows you to be a part of:

  • Building a community center, which will house the community’s first medical clinic, an adult education center, more classrooms, a sewing cooperative, and a facility to expand the food program.
  • Bringing clean water to the community for the first time.
  • Establishing a Living Compassion headquarters in Ndola.
  • Installing high-speed internet as a tool for education and business.
  • Establishing micro-finance projects.
  • Moving closer to our goal of feeding ALL hungry children in Kantolomba.
