When: Friday, May 7, 2010 - Sunday, May 9, 2010
Where: Green Cove Center in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina near Tuxedo
Workshop Description:
In the “Zen in Everyday Life” workshop we will explore bringing compassionate awareness to our daily lives. Through exercises and group discussions we will look to see what gets in the way of experiencing the peace and freedom available in each moment and how to come back to ourselves and live more fully from our hearts. With the support of the facilitators, participants will be guided to discover ways to incorporate their workshop experiences and insights into their everyday lives.
This workshop is for anyone who would like to bring more compassion and awareness to their life. It is designed for those who are new to Zen practice, those with years of experience, and everyone in between. This event will include meditation; workshop time; group discussions; delicious vegetarian food; and leisure time for walks, hikes on the many trails, and rest.
There are two ways to be a part of this workshop: Register for the workshop only (May 7-9) or register for the full Green Cove Retreat (May 3-9), which includes the “Zen in Everyday Life” workshop.
