Description: The Zen Monastery Peace Center is excited to offer a special practice opportunity to our MODOs—MOnthly DOnors to the Zen Monastery Peace Center and/or Living Compassion. If you are a monthly donor, for a registration pledge of $20.00 you may schedule an individual phone guidance appointment with a monk on Saturday, January 23.

Guidance is a one-on-one conversation with a person who has a depth of practice experience, in this case a senior monk at the Monastery. The content of the conversation can be anything you are looking at in your life and practice. The guidance conversation can be helpful in discerning between choices that lead to suffering and choices that lead to freedom and joy.

Appointments will be scheduled every 15 minutes, with a minute or two between so the next appointment can begin exactly on time. They begin at 9:30 a.m., and go throughout the day until 5:00 p.m. Once you have registered, you will be contacted by email with information on scheduling and other details.
