  The 'Working Meditators' of Athens, Georgia, are hiring themselves out to friends and family for odd jobs in exchange for a donaton to the Africa Vulnerable Children Project. They are partnered with Sarah Kabaso, a 6-year-old orphan living in Kantolomba Compound, as their inspiration.
 

Over the years, a number of people have been moved to organize events to benefit Living Compassion.  These include yard sales, pottery raffles, a Good For You party, a Living Memorial Celebration, and running a marathon with pledges donated to Living Compassion.

Here are some ideas of things to do:

  • Shows and Workshops - Music, Yoga, Cooking
  • Celebrations - Birthday, Anniversary, Living Memorial Ceremony
  • Good for You Party - Good Food, Good Friends, Good Time, Good Cause
  • Games and Sports - Marathons, Bingo, Frisbee
  • Activities in Nature - Hiking, Biking, Birding
  • Sales of items - Raffles, Auctions, Yard Sales
  • Your Own Ideas
