For many years the Thursday night group discussions that Cheri leads at the Zen Monastery Peace Center have been recorded. Because the Monastery is in such an unspoiled, natural setting, at certain times of the year the noise of crickets and frogs makes the recordings hard to hear. Joyfully Effortless, Effortlessly Joyful is a combination of quiet, lively, funny and insightful. Although many Thursday night discussions change subject with the speaker (interesting in its own right), this one held pretty steadily to the subject of not believing the voices of “something wrong.”
