The Monastery hermitages have served us well for many years, but they need love and attention in the form of repair, renovation and decor to make them more comfortable and enjoyable for guests. There are twelve hermitages that need considerable attention. The eight dormitory rooms need less, but we would like to repaint them and get some new sheets, pillowcases and blankets as part of the accommodations upgrade project.
If you would like to participate in this annual Wish List opportunity, we have put together some upgrade packages for your consideration. You may choose to contribute to any of the upgrade packages at either of two levels. It is fun to consider how contributing to this particular project will become a gift to you, and to everyone who comes to practice at the Monastery.
NOTE: You may contribute any amount to any item. You do not need to pay for an entire item on the wish list. Donations can be made online. Additional Solar Panels
for the Monastery Solar Array:
All the electricity used at the Monastery is generated by the sun. Our electrical needs have surpassed our capability to generate and supply enough power for daily operational needs of the Monastery. We figure adding six new solar panels to our existing arrays will increase our electrical supply to meet our power needs. Each new panel will cost approximately $450
$450 will provide one new solar panel.

Support for the four-legged monks:
The four-legged canine monks, Sadie and Pace, are widely acclaimed by guests and residents alike as the Monastery emissaries and teachers of unconditional love and models of the purest form of joy in the delight of Being. Whether it's chasing a stick thrown, welcoming each person exiting the meditation hall at the end of meditation, or joining a guest or resident for a walk on the property, Sadie and Pace, add much to the experience of being at the Monastery. Food and veterinary bills for each dog for a year are about $1200. If you would enjoy helping to support Sadie and Pace, we would be grateful for your participation at any level that feels comfortable to you.
$100 - A month of support for one dog
$200 - A month of support for both dogs
$1200 - A year of support for one dog
