 As we walk upon the road we meet ourselves.
And at the end, perhaps we'll find that there are no sides to take, no enemies of state, no arguments against the other.... On this tiny planet, and in this precious moment, we have the chance to live in peace together. If only we would take a walk. John Francis  We walk for peace just as we meditate for peace and work for peace. It is a way of being present, available, acutely in the midst of wherever we are. In September 2007, we followed a route established by the bare feet of St. Francis through the Rieti Valley in Italy. Enjoy the blog. Our most recent Peace Walk was a relay-walk from Palo Alto to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, concurrent with our PeaceStorming event in East Palo Alto. Rotating teams covered the 40 miles in four days, completing the journey on Saturday morning in time for the Bridge Walk. These Peace Walks are so much fun that we are already thinking about our next ones! Plan to join us!
