DESCRIPTION
There is no freedom in ignorance. Fear is not a happy life strategy. When you bring conscious awareness to sex and money, all you have to lose is ignorance and fear, all you will need to let go of is suffering. When you learn the process of bringing conscious, compassionate awareness to any aspect of life, fear loses its hold on you, and the need to control no longer controls you. Guilt and shame become signals that there is something that needs to be embraced in compassion. Desire is no longer a question of good and bad, right and wrong, it is another opportunity to get to know yourself.

In an exploration of wealth during the yearlong retreat, it became apparent there is a great deal of suffering around the subject of money. As with sexuality, money is one of those murky subjects that some of us find difficult to explore. This email class is designed to offer support to get past the unwillingness to be in inquiry around the topic of money. 

Expect assignments that ask us to work directly on finances. Exercises will be based on tracking spending, managing debt, saving, investing, planning for retirement, etc. While we will focus on process (this is Awareness Practice, after all) we will also work with some of the specifics of finances and be supported in taking next steps.
