Let us wake up! There is nothing more precious than today. This is the day the Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it. This is the day that may be be our last. Live it well. May we walk as if we are kissing the earth with our feet.
Let us step into the day with a grateful heart, gentle and caring. Let us step into the world and stand in humility and presence on our mother earth and tread lightly leaving not a trace.
Let us step into ourselves and other people and creatures who will be in our life today. Let us ask for the grace to love unconditionally, to be sensitive and kind, and to become wisdom, love, and compassion as we walk this way.
Let us step into mystery with realization and peace with what we don’t know and what we don’t understand. Let us stand in awareness and with all the mysteries of life, and I bow in deep Gasshō.
Let us pray that all beings be happy, all beings be free and that all beings have enough of everything they need each day.
